- Health clinics for refugees in centralised locations, including mobile clinics.
- Counselling for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.
- HIV/AIDS prevention, testing, care and treatment (including provision of Antiretroviral drugs and for opportunistic infections)
- Trainings and awareness programmes on a variety of health issues.
- Education
- Education centers for refugee children. Five centers are run by an NGO partner on behalf of UNHCR, while others are community-based education centers organised by the refugee communities themselves where UNHCR provides support, including volunteer teachers, where possible.
- Education centers for adults, largely on language and computer skills.
- Shelter
- Temporary shelter for vulnerable persons, including women and children.
- Advocacy for the greater protection of refugees in Malaysia
